Premier Chapter Award
The Premier Chapter Award recognizes Iowa PAS Chapters for all the activities their chapter participates in throughout the school year. Chapters earn points for activities and participation at the local, state and national levels. Points are tallied from the start of the annual state leadership conference the year and will conclude at the start of annual leadership conference the following year.
To earn points, chapters must submit proof (photos, social media posts, etc.) to the State Officer Team as soon as possible. Points will be updated regularly and updated standings will be posted here.
Points are earned by the following:
Local Level - 1 point per student attending
- Social Media Post (1 point per post)
- Recruitment gatherings
- Meetings
- Banquet
- Local Workshops
- Community Service / Development Projects
State Level - 5 points per student attending
- Membership (5 points per member listed on the roster)
- Fall Conference
- Spring Conference
- Participating in CPA Events
- Placing in the Top 3 in CPA Events
National Level - 10 points per student attending
- Membership (10 points per member listed on the roster)
- National PAS Conference
- Participating in CPA Events
- Placing in the Top 3 of CPA Events
Bonus points can also be earned as deemed by the Iowa PAS State Officer Team. An example would be if the State Officer Team coming to a chapter meeting.
